Pastors and their families from Cavite, Laguna and Manila districts gathered once again for the 2012 COG-MMR Christmas Party. This year’s celebration was shared with members of the COG National Board, ASCM President Dr. Mark Ligero, and the Austral-Asia Superintendent Bishop Marc Morris.

The event commenced with praise and worship led by Sis. Gigi Navarro and the Hills of Praise-COG music team. A delectable lunch was served for everyone to enjoy. Honey-glazed ham and grocery items were given to each pastor, while their kids each received gifts and goodies. Electronic gadgets, kitchen and home appliances were raffled out to the pastors. Of course, the party was never complete without the legendary “Shoot that Ball” where all pastors, pastor’s wives, and pastor’s kids got the opportunity to earn a cash prize if they were able to shoot the basketball.

Another highlight of this year’s party was a group photo emulating the Philippine flag, signifying one of COG’s aims — that is to make the Philippines a born-again nation.
